SENATE BILL 169

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

    1. On page 2, line 5, after "by", insert "the".

    2. On page 2, line 9, after "assistance", insert "formula grants".

    3. On page 2, line 10, strike "funding".

    4. On page 3, between lines 6 and 7, insert "(4) "technical assistance" pursuant to this section shall not include compliance procedures conducted by the state parks division of the energy, minerals and natural resources department on behalf of the applicants for the federal National Environmental Policy Act of 1969, processing of permits, producing geographic information systems data, conducting project planning, developing designs or engaging, contracting or directing project management".

and thence referred to the FINANCE COMMITTEE.
